Amazon Game Studios has announced Siege of Sulfur event. The event is scheduled on August 30th until September 12th. This event is a thrilling world event in New World that challenges players to defend one to three precious eggs from waves of mobs and a formidable boss. You’ll also earn rewards that will help you defeat Shah Neshen.

The event encourages collaboration, as it’s recommended to team up with 10 or more max-level players to tackle the challenge effectively. The event takes place in various locations, such as Elin Grove, Morningdale, and Brimstone Sands and promises a plethora of rewards for successful defenders.

Standard Rewards

  • 80% chance to receive one obsidian gypsum (capped at three times per day).

Defending Three Eggs:

  • 30% chance to roll a procedural weapon.
  • 40% chance to roll a global named weapon.
  • 30% chance to roll a Brimstone named item.
  • Guaranteed obsidian gypsum (capped at three times per day).
  • Guaranteed level-appropriate consumables (health, mana, etc.).

Bonus Rewards

  • Guaranteed event-only procedural weapon and procedural armor piece, both rolling at least epic quality.
