The New World Winter Convergence Festival is the winter seasonal event in New World. For 2023, it will begin on December 12th and last through January 9th.

The Winter Convergence Festival is a seasonal event that offers a lot of fun and rewards for the players of New World. You can earn and enjoy the festive items and cosmetics that you can get from the event, such as the Winter Wanderer’s Outfit, the Winter Warrior’s Outfit, the Winter Convergence Emotes, the Winter Convergence Housing Items, and the Winter Warrior’s Weapon Skin. You can also fight the Winter Warrior, the new world boss, and collect his Warrior’s Hailspikes. You can also visit the Winter Villages and complete the Winter Wanderer’s quests.

REWARDS

Gift Piles And Gift Sacks

One of the top approaches to this year’s event was to make it so that players didn’t have to visit so many winter villages in order to get good rewards. so now Gift Piles and Gift Sacks will give more gifts. Piles will now give you four gifts, with items including two White Gypsum and a random holiday food.  Sacks will now give three presents. You can interact with three Trees of Light a day and one Gift sack. Eligibility resets at 5AM local time daily.

Winter Warrior

The Winter Warrior is an Open World Raid boss tied to the Winter Convergence event. The boss is intended for a group of 20+ players. You can find him spawning in Great Cleave, Brightwood, Edengove, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands.

Defeating the Winter Warrior will grant you Warrior’s Hailspikes that you can exchange for 10 Winter Tokens. You will also receive 15 Dark matter for your first 3 Winter Warrior kills each day.

Gleamite Meteors

Gleamite Meteors are a random event that occur only at night throughout Aeternum. A rift will open in the sky and gleamite will fall down scattering on the ground. You will then have to mine the gleamite. You can then exchange the gleamite for winter tokens at the Winter village Holiday Hut. 

EVENT SHOP REWARD

You can visit Holiday Huts at any Winter Village to craft Winter Tokens in exchange for Lost Presents, Gleamite, or Warrior’s Hailspikes (Winter Warrior drop). Winter Tokens can be used at the Event Shop to purchase the following event-specific items. Increase your Reputation through holiday quests, Gleamite Meteors, Gift Piles, Trees of Light, Lost Presents, and Gift Sacks for a wider selection of rewards.
