12x PVP Ranked

Read Mode

12x PVP Ranked Win

PvP Rank is a measurement of a player's account wide experience in structured PvP. Rank is increased by accumulating rank points. Contents

Viewing Rank

When entering the structured PvP game type, the player's experience bar turns into a PvP rank bar. Here the player can see the current rank and progress towards next rank. To view total accumulated rank points, the player can open the Achievements panel, look under Competitive, and view progress towards the PVP Conqueror achievement.

Earning rank points

Rank points are earned at the end of a match and are based on whether your team won or lost and the duration the player was part of the match. Additionally, volunteering for auto-balance grants you the win bonus and provides you with an additional 25 rank points. Each top-stat you earn gives you another 5 Rank

Rank rewards

Whenever an account reaches a new PvP Rank, the player receives a rank-up chest based on the rank earned.

Rank1 - 9 = Small Rank-Up Ches

Rank 10 - 29 = Medium Rank-Up Chest

Rank 30 - 80 = Large Rank-Up Chest

12x PVP Ranked Win

For every 10 ranks earned a new finisher is unlocked for the account. This can also be displayed through the /rank command anywhere except for inside a WvW battleground, underwater, or during a structured PvP match.

Rabbit Rank Finisher (rank 1)

Deer Rank Finisher (rank 10)

Dolyak Rank Finisher (rank 20)

Wolf Rank Finisher (rank 30)

Tiger Rank Finisher (rank 40)

Bear Rank Finisher (rank 50)

Shark Rank Finisher (rank 60)

Phoenix Rank Finisher (rank 70)

Dragon Rank Finisher (rank 80)

With the release of Heart of Thorns, each 10 ranks also unlocks a new jungle themed PvP Reward Track which must then be completed to gain a Mordrem variation of the respective rank finisher. These Mordrem rank finishers have an overall green hue and contain thorns around the banner. All of them use the same base model except the Mordrem Dragon Finisher which has a Heart of Thorns legendary Wyvern instead.

Ascended Shard Farm

Read Mode

Ascended Shard Farm each 100 shards

Ascended Shard  of Glory are a currency obtained from completing PvP league reward tracks. They can be used together with Shards of Glory to purchase ascended equipment from the Ascended Armor League Vendor and Ascended Weapon League Vendor; a complete set of one ascended armor costs 1200 Ascended Shards of Glory, 20 Grandmaster Marks, and 13 gold.

Acquisition :

Completing the last tier of each seasonal reward chest in the PvP league will award from 25 to 100 Ascended Shards of Glory. Repeated completions of the final reward tier, Byzantium, continue to reward 100 shards each (25 on 2vs2 seasons).

Ascended equipment is equipment of Ascended quality. All ascended equipment has a level 80 requirement and 5% stronger stats than Exotic quality equipment and equal to Legendary equipment. All ascended equipment is account bound.

Types :

Ascended armor
Ascended weapons
Ascended trinkets
Ascended back items

Trivia :

In the storyline of Guild Wars, Ascension was a rite that players had to go through in order to gain the Gift of True Sight, which allowed them to see and fight the mursaat. To defend against the Spectral Agony used by the foes, players could infuse their armor, similar to using infusion against the Agony effect of bosses in Fractals of the Mists.
Ascended equipment types were released in separate releases :

Rings and back items were introduced with The Lost Shores and were originally available only in Fractals of the Mists (November 16, 2012)
Amulets were introduced with Flame and Frost: Prelude (January 28, 2013)
Accessories were introduced with Flame and Frost: The Gathering Storm (February 26, 2013)
Weapons were introduced with Super Adventure Box: Back to School (September 3, 2013)
Armor was introduced with A Very Merry Wintersday 2013 (December 10, 2013)
Breathers were introduced with Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns (October 23, 2015).

3. Originally, the stats on ascended items were displayed in two parts: the base attributes and the upgrade-equivalent values. The May 28, 2013 update changed the display so that each attribute appears only once.

WvW Reward Track

Read Mode

WvW Reward Track

WvW Reward Tracks are World versus World goals that can be activated in the World vs. World panel. Each WvW Reward Track has 8 tiers, with each tier containing 4 minor and 1 major reward. Each reward track contains 40 rewards in total: 32 minor and 8 major, where the last reward is generally the most valuable. To complete a reward track 20,000 points are needed, and a reward is received every 500 points. The progress in reward track is awarded at the end of each 5- minute scoring tick based on the player's current participation tier.

World vs. World (also known as WvW) is a game mode combining Player versus Player and Player versus Environment elements. Players from three different worlds (which can involve 6 servers) battle against each other. It features open-world combat on five large maps with up to several dozen players per map. In World versus World, players can besiege objectives such as Keeps and Towers with siege weapons, and battle over resource camps, as well as complete other PvE-type content to win World Experience for themselves.

Players joining WvW will have their level and attributes dynamically adjusted to level 80. However, their equipment stats will remain locked to their equipment level, so entering at a low level is not recommended. Although equipment can be obtained within WvW, WvW does not reward normal experience, only World Experience that increases a player's World Rank. Character levels may instead be gained by using Tomes of Knowledge, obtained from rank increase rewards and WvW reward tracks. Each character on an account utilizes their own pool of World Ability Points and subsequently purchased WvW traits, but World Experience and World Rank gained on one character are account-wide.

Time Estimation:

Time estimation for 1x Reward track is 1 day
