New World Umbral Shard Farm Guide – Crafting 600 Gear Score Equipment

Even as one of the essential items for the players, Umbral Shard can be easier to get if you have 600 gear score equipment. It is one of the ways of farming the shard, which is likely only available for the end game players. But how does it work in the New World new update? 

About The 600 Gear Score Equipment Farm 

Reaching 600 level gear score is basically at the end game phase. You will need a lot of shards to reach this level. But upon this number, the item slots with 600 gear items and expertise level will begin to give you back some umbral shards. It will give you each time you craft level 600 times, with the lowest number being 25.  

How Much You Will Get? 

Every reward is based on your slot expertise levels. To get the 600+ expertise level, you will need 600 gear score items. Which means you need more shards to reach those points. But the higher gear score and expertise level will give you several shards back. Starting from level 600 – the reward is 25 and gain 3 more every time you level up. Such as 600 you got 25, 601 you got 28, 602 you got 31 and so on.   

The Perk And Problem

One thing for sure, 600 level or higher might give you several umbral shards as a reward. But reaching that level itself needs a lot of effort and time. So, you can see it as an end game reward from the New World player. Or you can also see it as a cashback as you spend a lot of umbral for upgrading but you will also get several shards back.  

Basically, as Umbral shard is used for gear score upgrades you will eventually get it as a reward in the 600 expertise levels. It is pretty high equipment which also needs proper grinding. So it is not something easy to get, as you need to have many shards to reach the level.
