This Mastery is focused on Heart of Thorns area.There are 198 Heart of Thorns mastery point Heart of Thorns points available from achievements. This includes an extra hidden mastery point from Defeat Mayatl the Fierce that gets awarded inconsistently. Maxing HoT mastery need of total 135.
Max Mastery PoF Include Skyscale
This Mastery is focused on Heart of Thorns area. There are 130 Path of Fire mastery point available from achievements. Total Mastery points needed for PoF area is 110 Mastery point
Unlock Mount "SKYSCALE"
The Skyscale is a mount released with the Episode 6 of Living World Season 4, War Eternal. It is the third new mount added to the game since the release of Path of Fire. Upgrades to the skyscale mount improve its flight ability.

1. Completing the Skyscale collections requires that you have completed (at least) two specific chapters of Living World Season 4:

Legacy (the third chapter of the fourth episode A Star to Guide Us - you need this to unlock access to Sun's Refuge)
Descent (the last chapter of the last episode War Eternal - this unlocks the first quest Newborn Skyscales)

You will also need access to all six season 4 maps, which you can get by purchasing all six chapters.

2. These collections are time gated. Some steps, such as unlocking another of the five main collections requires waiting for 2 hours after the previous step. The total minimum time needed to unlock the mount is 3 days plus 8 hours.

3. You must be logged in on a character that has finished the Descent story and the epilogue to receive a mail to unlock subsequent achievements, but any character can complete the collections after they are unlocked.

To unlock the mastery system, you must own any expansion and unlock one of its mastery tracks. This can for instance be done by completing certain story chapters:

Heart of Thorns, Act 1: Torn from the Sky
Path of Fire, Act 1: Sparking the Flame
The Icebrood Saga, Episode 1 (Whisper in the Dark): Silent
End of Dragon: Act1

Mastery points are a currency used for acquiring masteries. As players progress through the game, they will earn mastery points. All mastery points are earned by completing achievements. These points are stored in the player's account permanently once obtained (even if the player has not unlocked the mastery system), and may be spent to permanently acquire a mastery once the yellow experience bar for the currently-tracked mastery is filled. Achievements can be filtered to show only those that give mastery points or mastery points belonging to a specific region. The mastery point system was introduced with Heart of Thorns, and requires an expansion.

The hero panel to change your current mastery cannot be opened by clicking on the experience bar while in combat; the current mastery can, however, be changed at any time in the hero panel if it's opened previously or by any other means.
