Cataclysm Classic: Rise of the Zandalari

Just as you thought about heeding the warning to avoid “da voodoo,” a new opportunity emerges, tempting you to take a chance: enter Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman, thwart the plans of the Zandalari and their allies, and reap the rewards for your efforts.

In the past, the Zandalar tribe, revered as the wise and learned ancestors of the trolls, bravely aided the Horde and Alliance in stopping the malevolent activities of their kind in Zul’Gurub and Zul’Drak. However, the upheaval caused by the Cataclysm has reshaped the Zandalari’s worldview and the survival of their dwindling race. Led by the enigmatic prophet Zul, the Zandalari have called upon Azeroth’s embattled troll populations to unite and forge a powerful empire to prevent their extinction.

Return to Zul’Gurub

Responding to this call, the Gurubashi and Amani trolls have joined forces with the Zandalari, rebuilding their capitals in Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman. Yet not all trolls embrace the Zandalari’s vision. Vol’jin and his Darkspear tribe reject Zul’s warmongering, seeking aid from their Horde allies and the Alliance to restrain the growing forces of Gurubashi and Amani trolls from wreaking havoc. Should the Darkspears fail, a new troll empire threatens to escalate the world’s ongoing suffering and conflict.

Under the veil of secrecy, Vol’jin has dispatched Darkspear emissaries to Stormwind and Orgrimmar, urging adventurers to investigate rising threats in the jungles of Stranglethorn.

The outlook is grim. The rejuvenated Gurubashi tribe runs rampant in Stranglethorn. Adventurers can embark on new solo quests in Stranglethorn, uncovering the challenges ahead. They will assist Bwemba, a spirited Darkspear spirit-talker, locate Hemet Nesingwary, and confront the new bosses of Zul’Gurub in the steamy jungles.

Rewards for addressing Stranglethorn’s issues include an adorable panther pet. Interested players should contact Vol’jin’s representatives in Orgrimmar or Stormwind Harbor to begin their journey.

Zul’Gurub, now a stronghold for empowered Gurubashi, poses fresh challenges in its level-85 5-player Heroic dungeon form, supported by the Zandalari. Familiar faces return with updated encounters and mechanics. Those aligned with the Darkspears face formidable foes like High Priest Venoxis and Jin’do the Godbreaker, promising treasures like a map leading to valuable loot, including an account-bound ring with a prominent gem.

Players skilled in Archaeology can unlock an additional boss in Zul’Gurub, where Gri’lek, Renataki, Hazza’rah, and Wushoolay guard their riches. Survivors claim unique rewards from each boss.

The Amani Regrouped

The Amani, under new leadership in Daakara with Zandalari aid, reclaim Zul’Aman as a level-85 5-player Heroic dungeon. Similar to its past, yet updated for groups, it features Akil’zon, Nalorakk, Jan’alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass, and Daakara challenging adventurers.

Both Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub require an average item level of 346 for entry, placing them in a higher difficulty tier than Cataclysm Heroic dungeons. Players can expect epic-quality loot at item level 353, tailored to fill difficult gear slots like bracers, helms, and wands.

As with the original dungeons, rare mounts await players: the Swift Zulian Panther and Armored Razzashi Raptor in Zul’Gurub, and the Amani Battle Bear in Zul’Aman for defeating the first four bosses within a time limit. WOW Boosting With MMOPILOT
