There are several

Read Mode

There are several methods of Fast Travel in Aeternum. There is currently no "group" fast travel (minus perhaps the automatic teleports to Expeditions, Outpost Rush, Corrupted Invasion, and War), but there are several options for single-player travel.

Aeternum is the main location and the name of the island in New World. The players begin their journey with a rough start of being washed up in between ship-wrecks as the Sole Survivor. Aeternum offers the players lush forests, long beaches, mountainous areas and a rich flora and fauna to explore. Settlements are a place to meet other players, to use the Crafting Stations and to follow the various Quests.

Expeditions are five-player instanced dungeons that will take players to the darkest corners of Aeternum. There, your party will face dire threats, learn more about the source of Corruption, expose the Angry Earth's ulterior motives, reveal the deeper menace behind the Lost, and delve into the secrets of the ancient Guardians. Players can expect challenging battles which require skill and team coordination to complete. Expeditions require a group of three to five players for completion.

Each expedition will tell its own story and be a unique experience. Expedition have loot and gear unique to that experience to incentivize exploring and conquering the various expeditions spread throughout Aeternum. In successive expeditions, the mechanics and puzzles are going to vary. For example, AI sets for bosses and mini-bosses will differ, and loot tables will be unique for each expedition.

Outpost Rush in

Read Mode

Outpost Rush in New World is a combination PvP and PvE Game Mode available to players who have attained max level. It consists of teams of 20 players from two competing Factions, fighting for control of fortifications and resources. Outpost Rush is one of the first Endgame activities available to players. Participating in Outpost Rush matches rewards players with exclusive items and powerful equipment as well as gold. This page covers information on Outpost Rush's mechanics and general gameplay flow.

Outpost Rush takes place on the mysterious Nauthynos Island, a separate instance off the main Aeternum location. Two teams of 20 players face off against each other for control of the island, its resources and most importantly, its Outposts. Outpost Rush is a race to come out on top by capturing and defending objectives, collecting resources and defeating enemies. As a PvPvE (Player versus Player versus Environment) mode, it combines aspects of the War and Invasion gameplay modes into an exciting competition of skill and coordination to determine who reigns supreme.

Outpost Rush is a 20 vs. 20 battle set in a primordial river basin filled with forgotten ancient technologies and hidden sources of Azoth. Players and their team will vie for control of strongholds and strategic resources, requiring combat prowess and collective wits to win.
Map
Currently there are three upgradeable outposts:

Star Outpost - located north of the map.
Sol Outpost - located in the center of the map.
Luna Outpost - located south of the map.

Each outpost has gates that can be upgraded, protection wards that can be made using resources, weapons such as repeater turrets and vats of oil, and command posts.

Gameplay includes building cannons, summoning circles, and collecting azoth essence to get rewards. Defeating Baroness Hains freezes the other team's score.

New World Faction

Read Mode

New World Faction Tokens Farm

Faction Tokens are gained by completing Faction Missions and can be spent in the Faction Armory.

After selecting a Faction, you can accept missions from your Faction representative in any Settlement and complete them in exchange for rewards. Factions offer specialized equipment, act as a source of income, and are the group you work with to wage War on other Territories to expand your Faction’s control of Aeternum.

There is a Coin bonus (10x) for your first 3 faction missions done each day. There are two types of Faction Missions: PvE and PvP.
PvE Missions
PvE Missions ask you to do things like defeat creatures, craft supplies, stockpile resources, assassinate high-threat foes, or elite missions which send players to take on Aeternum's most dangerous villains and their minions. Completing a PvE Mission rewards Faction currency, which can be used to purchase Faction-specific equipment and items.
PvP Missions
PvP Missions ask you to do things like recover tactical information, deliver critical messages or items to another Territory, or patrol an area for opposing Factions. Accepting a PvP Faction mission will auto-flag you for PvP. Unflagging yourself will automatically abandon the mission. Dying during your PvP mission will cause you to fail it and you’ll have to go back and accept another. In addition to rewarding Faction Tokens, completing a PvP Mission also generates Influence for your Faction within that Territory. Generating Influence for the controlling Faction of a Territory Reinforces its control, while generating Influence for a Faction that is not in control Undermines the controlling Faction and brings the Territory closer to being vulnerable to a War Declaration.

The Faction Armory (also known as the Faction Shop) is used to purchase items with Faction Tokens and Coin . Available items vary slightly by Faction. Sections of the shop are unlocked by rank in that faction. See the following pages for details.
